How to Make a Lavender Sock Sachet

I posted this on Instagram some time back and got several ‘jokey’ comments asking if I had baked a lavender bread. At first glance (on a small screen) this may indeed look like bread, but it’s a one-size nylon sock of the variety often sold in supermarkets and druggists.

This is the easiest peasiest how-to for lavender lovers: an XL sized lavender sachet. I made this for my blanket cupboard (where larger sachets are easier to keep track of then the regular sized teensy ones.

I used lavender buds from my stock that were past the use-by date.

How to make a lavender Sock Sachet

• Fill a one-sized nylon sock with dried lavender buds

• Tie shut

• Place in cupboard of choosing

• Rejoice
