Pink Shower Shaker, Anyone?

A while back, I started making and sharing shower shakers on the main blog. The development of this concept was partly an attempt to bring a bit of bathtub luxury into a shower situation and partly to encourage folks to minimize their use of water and not feel they were missing out.

To be honest, I couldn’t tell you if the idea has caught on anywhere but in my own home. That said, I keep making batches of shower shakers and enjoying the heck out of them.

Pictured above: my latest batch featuring pink himalayan salt, rose and hibiscus powder. The powders and salts are simply mixed together with a bit of grated cocoa butter, popped into a parmesan cheese dispensing container (with suitably large holes) and used in the shower.
