Earlier this month, I wrote about a failed color stability test with beetroot. Today, I’m sharing a little success story that has taken me a bit by surprise: an anhydrous balm using beetroot as the only colorant .

The color has remained stable for a numerous weeks (as I write this) and the balm is not only luxurious to use, but offers a lovely hint of color that works great for both lips and cheeks.
