E-BOOK - INSTANT DOWNLOAD !

Shampoo bars are all the rage and with good reason. Not only are they easy to make, sustainable, and can be tailored to a variety of preferences, but shampoo bars are long lasting and don’t require expensive (or any!) packaging.

Shampoo bars are perfect for travel because they are free of liquids, but they’re also effective, practical, and fun to use.

What’s not to love?

This 86 page e-book shows you how to make your own shampoo bars using natural ingredients and botanicals. We’ve developed and tested 13 unique formulas to help you achieve a successful result with every batch.

pH Balanced and Preservative Free

Every formula is pH balanced for optimal scalp friendliness. We’ve also designed these products to be preservative free, yet they have a shelf life of at least 6 months after first use. And the shelf life before use is even longer!

Whether you are new to cosmetics making or a practiced artisan, this book will not only guide you through the entire process, but also offers options for personalization. You can choose to make each formula as is, but we’ll also show you how to personalize by substituting ingredients without compromising either pH, shelf life, or function.

Two Heads are Better Than One

I’ve partnered with Rebecca Wright of Botanical Formulations to create the 13 formulas in this book. Right from the beginning, we decided to make it our main focus to encompass every level of experience, personal taste, and include all hair and scalp types. In short: we wanted to create formulas for everyone that were easy enough for a novice to make, but customizable enough for experienced artisans. Not only have we thoroughly enjoyed creating this collection, but we’re sure you’re going to enjoy making and using them – regardless of your level of experience!

We’ve gone into so much detail every formula is a full 4 pages long and includes:

  • step by step instructions

  • inspirational photos

  • tips about ingredient substitutions

  • handy product overview that shows hair type, shelf life, drying/hardening time, pH, and more

Something for Every Taste and Hair Type

Make Your Own Naturally Balanced Shampoo Bars includes a wide range of possibilities for every taste, scalp type, and personal preference.

Try the Ayurvedic shampoo bars with all natural saponins for an ultra gentle cleanse for sensitive scalps, or make the stunning 2-phased Five Flowers shampoo bar with your own built in conditioning ‘nuggets’ that add both function and beauty. Or how about a less-is-more simple, unscented shampoo bar with its own all-natural built-in conditioner? The exotic Arabian Shine bars incorporate traditional hair-boosting botanicals that offer both conditioning and shine while the fabulous Honey and Chamomile shampoo bars include real raw honey. Coconut Cream anyone? This shampoo bar lathers up into a wonderfully smooth and creamy tropical experience. We’re sure you’ll find the perfect shampoo bar for you!
