The idea of making an emulsion that is packaged in a normal (not airtight) container and utilizing Hurdle Technology as the sole preservation system intrigues me.
Emulsions are the trickiest as they have a content of water, yet batch one of this ‘Hurdle Cleanser’ passed muster, so on we go with batch 2. This one includes self-preserving handcrafted extracts and infusions to make the challenge even more challenging.
The little specs in the product are raspberry seeds.
Now, it’s just a question of time.
