Oatmeal Bath Bombs

Lise

Oatmeal is a great skincare ingredient and a perfect addition to a bath bomb. These bath bombs are handcrafted and made from the basic bath bomb formula in my latest publication.

The basic bath bomb formula is water-free and designed to be as beginner-friendly as possible. You don’t even need a dedicated bath bomb tool to make a functional bath bomb. These were molded using ordinary kitchen equipment.

Sparkling Bath Soak

This is just one of the products featured in my latest publication. The sparkling bath soak formula contains a lovely blend of powders and botanicals and includes the star ingredient: essential oils. Not just any essential oils mind you - but your own fabulous blend of essential oils.

The entire book is designed to offer a series of easy-to-make bath-friendly products for folks who are predominately focused on working with essential oils and want to create something bath-fabulous (yes, that’s a word I just made up).

Almost every formula can be customized and made in dozens of different variations.

Take the Sparkling Soak for Example

Imagine a sparkling golden bath soak with a blend of chamomile and calendula, or how about a fresh green herbal soak with mint powder, or an ultra relaxing sparkling soak featuring lavender.

See what I mean? The possibilities are practically limitless!

This page gives you a complete outline of what’s in this publication.

The All Natural Deodorant Plant

Lise

J-cleavers.jpg

This is an amazing little slice of nature. Not only do these herbs grow wild around the globe, but they provide numerous other benefits. Cleavers (Galium aparine) are useful in several ways. The fruits (those round growths you see up there) can be dried, roasted and used to make a drink that is quite similar to coffee - complete with natural content of caffeine.

Among many other benefits, Cleavers is said to even offer anti-aging properties. And although the anti-aging bit has my interest, it is the all-natural deodorizing capabilities of this humble herb that has captured my full attention.

If you’re interested in learning more about cleavers (and the numerous other wonderful herbs and plants that surround us and provide health benefits), visit Medical Herbalist Vivienne Campbell at The Herbal Hub.

And if you want to try making your own all-natural and preservative-free deodorant with cleavers, there are 3 different formulas to choose from in this E-book. They are pictured below to the right of the book.

Scalp Stimulating Shampoo Bars

Pictured: an exercise in botanical synergy that is designed to help stimulate circulation while it cleanses.

The formula for this shampoo bar is in the latest publication Make Your Own Naturally Balanced Shampoo Bars.

I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Rebecca Wright, a colleague from Formulators Kitchen on this publication, and it has resulted in a series of preservative free, naturally pH balanced shampoo bar formulas with a little something for every taste.

We hope you enjoy making and using the shampoo bars in this book.
